Situational Awareness Mascot
SAM is APB’s Situational Awareness mascot for keeping you safe! He is RAHLF’s little brother with the sole mission of helping you remember how to be prepared by to stay alive and stay safe. When you see RAHLF and SAM, they should always act as a reminder that TRAINING = SURVIVAL! And that in order to survive today’s growing trends towards public violence, you must take time to train with APB and follow our proven safety practices.
SAM is an acronym for APB’s Situational Awareness model and training. Designed to operate similar to the standards taught in defensive driving, APB’s SAM model and training teaches defensive living by educating students on very simple and basic ways to be aware of dangers that may lurk around them, and how to respond when threats appear. The acronym in SAM’s name stands for SURVIVAL, AWARENESS and MOVE. Here at APB we are confident that SAM will help you learn to avoid dangers and stay safe.
